My second collaboration with the directing duo Jansen&Rodriguez, consisting of the recently deceased Fabio Jansen and Mattia Molinari, took me back to Shanghai and later to Shenzhen. On the way there, however, I was stranded in Hong Kong due to a severe hurricane. It was the most violent storm in the last hundred years. I did a lot of the preparation work barricaded in the bathroom of my hotel, which had a metal door. It was my first experience of working remotely, before the pandemic. After arriving late in Shanghai, everything happened very quickly. After a day of preparation, we started filming. Luckily, we were already a well-oiled team.
