My first collaboration with the directing duo Jansen&Rodriguez, which consisted of the recently deceased Fabio Jansen and Mattia Molinari, was a special experience. I had previously shot several projects in Shanghai and knew the unique atmosphere of the city well. I Had already developed strategies how to destilate lights and colours of the mega city into a dense atmosphere and to create a dynamic experience. This time I wanted the car to blend effortlessly into the world of a young, creative cast.
